Because you're in a high-risk group (drug user), you should probably be tested anyway. Unless the blood was fresh, (if it WAS blood and that's not been proven) AND it contained enough virus to effect transmission (and you don't know if it was blood, if it was contaminated with anything and if it contained enough to infect you) you needn't worry. It was probably red marker.
