My dog has giardia, I need help!?

I had to take my Pomeranian to the emergency vet a couple weeks ago when I found blood in her stool, they told me she had giardia. They gave me one med for the giardia that was for 5 days and panacur for ten days. Her stool was better than ever (because of the issues I've had with her going to the bathroom normally since I got her they think she's had it since I got her) but now she had diarrhea a lot again. The emergency vet didn't say to super clean the carpets where she has soiled, or even mention testing my dachshund to make sure he isn't infecting her. My vet said we can test her again if need be, but I'm afraid they won't find anything because when we were previously trying to figure out her bathroom issue they didnt find anything in her fecal sample. I clean the carpet with oxy clean but I want to completely shampoo my carpet to insure it's clean. She is so tiny, there's no way all this diahrea is good for her :( what should i do!?
