Can "tagged" social network access my contacts, without my authorization?

I received an e-mail purporting to come from a close friend but he did not send it. Looks like a social networking company called TAGGED has without authority sent "add friend" requests to all contacts in HIS address book. Can "tagged" access my "contacts" in my yahoo mail account??
