I can't understand what's going on with my health?

I'm a 41 year old female that has always been healthy until about a year ago. I am overweight, but I don't drink or smoke and last year I started eating healthy and losing the excess weight..The problems started with sore throat that has never gone away, along with the sore throat I had an aching body (similar to light flu symptoms).I have been to the GP who has told me I have acid reflux but the medication I took made no difference whatsoever.Saw a consultant and did some test and discovered I had a small hernia and H.Pylori. I was given triple therapy(antibiotics) for the H.Pylori which I completed but the symptoms of a sore throat persist. When my sore throat feels really sore my ears get affected and I find my hearing muffled. Several times I have had the glands behind one of my ears swell up considerably for a few days at a time then they settle.Now I have started hearing clicking sounds from various parts of my body but for the past 10 ten days every time I walk I have an almost continuous clicking sound coming from my foot or knee (I am not sure which) which is so annoying. I have no swelling or direct pain but tenderness which could be what I have been mistaking for a sore body for the last few months.This afternoon the inside of my left arm is red and very hot to the touch. I know something is wrong but my previous GP has not diagnosed me so I have now just moved to a new GP after being with the previous GP for a year and a half and having no concrete diagnosis . On Monday I am seeing the Ear Nose and Throat specialist,and I want to request that my GP gets me to do a full and comprehensive blood test.I did a bone density scan a few months ago and I got the all clear, I did a full blood count beginning of last year and I got the all clear, so I have no idea what is going on with me healthwise. I know my immune system is compromised as I have facial warts (not very visible unless you look closely, if anything they look like tiny pimples) and that is a sign of an immune system that is weak otherwise the body would have fought off the herpes virus (which is what facial warts is). What can I do to get to the bottom of this? GP's seem to be clueless and in the year that I have had the symptoms, I keep getting additional symptoms that do not go away, I am really worried as I have always been healthy with only very minor issues that I managed to cure very fast. Any insights would be helpful.

do you sleep late? that could be a reason, try sleeping before 11pm everyday for 2 weeks and see how that helps. To my knowledge, none of that stuff works and it only dries out your skin. Acne usually is related to how healthy you live, so if you get them often, maybe you're not treating your body well.

How to cope with fibromyalgia when doc wants me off narcotics?

Been on 7.5 hydrocodone since 5/10 2x per day, 11/10 to 4x per day then 3G per day plus 20mg oxycontin 4/11. Now 5-10, doc diagnoses me with fibromyalgia and not only does she want me off the narcotics, but expects me to wean off with 90 5/5mg hydrocodone. I've dropped off the oxy and now at 4x per day, and withdrawal hasn't been too bad but the pain is becoming unbearable. Cymbalta is not an option, it makes me very ill. Doc refused somas even though they've helped me in the past. I'm not ignorant to this condition or treatments available to me but to continue switching doctors will simply lead them to believe I'm just a drug seeker, which I am, but not for the purpose of drug abuse. I'm losing hope and I don't know what to do.

What's the difference between Oxy Maximum Face Wash and Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser?

What would help me the most is to get some feedback from anyone who has a disability that is limited in participating in daily activities. I am in an assistive technology course and our assignment is to invent a device that would bridge that gap. My goal is to be able to take your requests and design something that would be specific to your needs. It can be any disability and any request that is sincere. Just to get an idea of what I am trying to do here's an example that has already been done. A man who was an avid bowler had a spinal cord injury which caused limited function of the muscles in his hands. He has a good amount of weakness but still could move his hands pretty good. Someone designed a ramp that could be used from sitting in his wheelchair. He positions it just in place and has his teammate hold it in place by the handles installed at the top. The ball was positioned at the top of the ramp and he would use his hands to propel it down the ramp. He would make strike after strike! It was amazing to see this and it has really motivated me to learn other areas of need. Would love to hear from you!

I don't really know how to explain this. I've never had a real "pimple" problem, but one here and there. I have a lot of little bumps on my face, where you have to be very close to notice them, which I am in the mirror.. and they are driving me nuts. It makes me look "rough." My boyfriend recently changed completely and turned so cold... Please read..?

He took an out of town job and moved two hours away. He started off saying we would be fine and see each other on the weekends and when we got married me and my daughter would have to move there. I was okay with that but then he started becoming really distant and stopped coming around much. He stopped calling and accepting calls. He denied my visits and i sat here crying all the time. It got so bad that he ignored me for three weeks. Finally he broke up with me and did it on text just saying he needed space and maybe one day we can try again he has a lot to work on. I begged to just talk to him for five minutes. He denied me that and was so mean. He ignored any further contact and he deleted me from facebook and all of our pics and my friends. I am so confused because he is such a good man. He was the sweetest guy ever and I do not even know this man. He said a few weeks ago that he was going through a lot of personal problems and i was so concerned for him. I was just trying ot be there for him and email him and check on him. He pushed us out of his life. i haven't done anything to hurt him. We had plans to one day get married and now he is totally changing. It hurts so bad and I cant do anything about it. Yet I have cried and begged to see him and just be with him some and he has totally been hateful to us? How can I get over the fact that he changed overnight and my dreams are crushed? How can I get over the fact that he is so mean and we will ever speak again? He told me that he just needs his space even if it means we are done forever (because I told him if he broke up with me it would be for good) He told an older lady friend at church that this was just for a few months so that he could get things straightened out in his life and he didn't feel like it would be permanent. He said to me that maybe one day we could try again but he needs to do his own thing for awhile. If he really loved us then wouldn't it kill him to not be a part of our lives? Wouldn't he want to keep us there but may be just say he couldn't be around very much and needed some space while he works through some issues? Please help! I am so sad.

I injured myself 10 months ago and I gained 20 lbs!!! I really want to lose it however it is hard especially since I am still injured ( my knee) so I can only do certain things. My dog has giardia, I need help!?

I had to take my Pomeranian to the emergency vet a couple weeks ago when I found blood in her stool, they told me she had giardia. They gave me one med for the giardia that was for 5 days and panacur for ten days. Her stool was better than ever (because of the issues I've had with her going to the bathroom normally since I got her they think she's had it since I got her) but now she had diarrhea a lot again. The emergency vet didn't say to super clean the carpets where she has soiled, or even mention testing my dachshund to make sure he isn't infecting her. My vet said we can test her again if need be, but I'm afraid they won't find anything because when we were previously trying to figure out her bathroom issue they didnt find anything in her fecal sample. A REALLY REALLY DISGUSTING PIMPLE QUESTION!?

Okay, I'm 16, and I used to have severe acne. Then, I started using some kind of acne treatment skin thing ( I forgot the name)...oh wait, it's called Oxy something? Anyways, it really helped because I only grow one pimple occasionally and I no longer get boils! Yay! :) However, whenever I grow this one occasional pimple, I can squeeze it (it's not healthy I know :|) and then this little white thing oozes out and it looks like a tiny pin hole is left in my skin!!!! It disappears after a while but it's so nasty and I know I should stop but it gives me the satisfaction of triumph when I pick it!!! My question is, what's the name of this type of pimple?? Im in the same boat.. i just decided too simply stay on the pain meds but learn too use them properly.. you have too be careful about telling healthcare people/doctors about abusing percocets/oxycodone or any other pain meds as if you end up really needing them you wont be able too as youll be labled as an addict. but if you are determined too get off of them then more power too you! you have too do whats best for you..... im on 180mg to 220 mgs of roxycodone daily for 7 herniated discs etc... i also take meds for bad arthritis and gout.... the roxycodone i will be on for years too come unless something comes out that really works for pain etc... i have been in your shoes.... i had too come off just because i was taking so much junk for depression/anxiety etc.. that i was on too much damn medicine! i went too a different doctor and asked him too straighten me out etc... and he did! he adjusted the meds and took me off most which werent even necessary! maybe you can get a 2nd medical opinion? you obviously had too take them for pain? are you no longer in pain? if you are i would think long n hard before completely quitting them as when you come off you may not like the pain that the pills have been masking all this time... but as far as weening down off of oxycodone? it sucks no doubt, and a doctor can help you with the transition as benzos help ease the withdrawal process ie. ativan/xanax etc... also one of the greatest drugs too come out in years is on the market called suboxone. this med is specifically designed too elminate the withdrawal process 100% if you can chat with your doc about suboxone tabs or strips? they eliminate the mental cravings as well as the physical d sickness.... suboxone is an excellent med and it helps with chronic pain.... just by looking at things it appears your on way too much medication and who wouldnt be fatigued! referring too the bi polar meds that is... the venlafaxine can make you tired etc... i really think you can eliminate alot of the meds in your cocktail, but please dont take this too heart, chat w your doctor about this stuff..... keep in mind your fibromyalgia may cause you pain issues, the suboxone will help with that and help you get off of pain meds.....check it out! keep in mind that if you arent happy with your doctor hell you can find another... best of luck!

Dermatologist?...again?

about a year ago i went to a dermatologist for help with my acne and her prescribed me retin-a, some pills and some benzoyl peroxide gel. I stuck with the routine of the products and at first the retin-a totally burned my skin, so i stopped using that, and then my acne cleared up fo a couple weeks and it came right back! thats when i gave up on it and started using OXY clinical, which also worked for a couple weeks and my acne came back again! my mom talked to my dermatologist and he wants me to go back and said hes going to give me accutane at my next appointment. So will accutane work or just be like the other products and only work for a couple weeks? HELP

Never got my rootcanal finish and I am afraid it is infected. What can I do?

About 2 weeks ago I went into Aspen dental for fillings. I was tolled that I did need a root canal but we agreed that would wait til the end of the month. When I got there she started to drill the tooth were she wanted to do the root canal saying I just want to see if this tooth can be saved. Next thing I know I was in horrible, horrible, pain. I was yelling and crying my eyes out it was so bad. She would stop for a moment and tell me it needs to be done now, she went back to drilling, it wasn't until the 4th time of me screaming I told her enough stop. She then told me that she already started it and she has to finish it. The pain was horrible. Needless to say she sent me home and didn't finish it after my legs went flying up in the air when I was in pain kicking everything off the table. She put little cotton balls in it and tolled me it can't be pulled after I BEGGED for her to just pull it. Now I am so terrified I am going to have to go though all that pain again I don't want to go back. My tooth is acking me and the little cotton balls that are in there are filled with puss. I keep changing the cotton balls myself at home and I would rather have it pulled. Its in the back anyways. When I called them back to have it pulled once again I am tolled I can't because its considered a "hot tooth" and it has to have a root canal. My tooth is throbbing but its not as bad as it was when she was drilling me to death. I put some oral gell on the outer gums, and rinse it out very well before putting the fresh cotton ball back in. The only prescription they gave me was for Oxy's for the pain and tolled me to take one before I go back to relax me? I thought that was to much. I rather just have it out after all this pain and don't understand why I can't.

So im a 21 year old male, and ive been abusing prescription painkillers for about 2 and a half years. Pretty much all of them vicodin, oxy, morphine, methadone ect. you name it ive abused it. I've been using Proactiv for awhile now and it works really well, but it's getting a little pricey. I want to switch over to something else. I've already tried Acne Free and that gave me some massive skin irritation, and I tried Neutrogena WAVE, which made a difference in my skin, but it didnt help the acne that was already present. I have chronic lower-mid back pain caused by osteo arthritis and degenerative disc disease. I am told by my doctor that I will most likely be on pain meds for many years. What makes Oxy clensing pads turn purple?

I use Oxy clensing pads and my past pads have been white. I opened a new package and they were a light purple but I didn't think much of it. A week later and they are dark purple with areas that are almost black and dark liquid drips and smears onto my fingers when I'm using them. Now I'm worried its some kind of mold... did this happen to anyone else? What causes it?

Deterring a cat from peeing in the same spot on the carpet using orange scent?

I got some oxy-orange to clean a urine spot on the carpet. It seemed to get rid of it but now the smell is back. I can't tell if it's the original urine or if they're re-soiling. I thought that citrus smells were good deterrents for cats. But the vet-tech thinks they will pee on top of smells they don't like to cover them up. Does anyone know if orange is a good deterrent to use on carpets? I'd like to shampoo certain areas to restrict them, but if they'll revolt my problem would be worse.

German shepherd female 11 months old questions?

well i love her greatly and it doesnt matter what her mix is ( as far as i know and the vet knows ) she is a pure breed german shepherd, but at certain times when she gets excited or playful her tail goes into a perfect ( and i mean perfect ) donut shape and not leaning to either side. just sitting on top of her back .. but when she is calm or intrigued by something her tail goes like a regular german shepherd. she has all the colours, features, bone structure everything like a GSD. i was just wondering what type of dog she could possibly be mixed with . her tail is really cute when its curled it actually folds onto itself to continue the curl .

Serious Help With Acne?

Okay so I've had very minor acne problems since I was about 13, and now I'm 16, it's a few days until my prom and about a month ago my chin broke out in tiny spots. At first I wasn't worried, but now my prom is on Friday, and I have about 4 cysts on my chin. They are all fairly small but they are still there! I have tried some medications before such as that oxy benzoyl peroxide stuff and tea tree wash and other various things, but is there absolutely anything I can do between now and Friday to get rid of these things, and prefreably at home as I can't get to any shops. They make me really upset actually, and I feel so ugly.. I know having acne doesn't make you ugly, but I have never felt so ugly in my life and my prom is sooon! Please help!?!?!

Acne Acne Acne! Help?

I know how you feel because my hormones cause me to have acne too- not horror acne like you said but pretty bad acne. I have gone on accutane, tried everything, and nothing has completely worked for my skin because my hormones are so bad. But accutane works for most everyone, and all the other treatments out there will almost never completely heal your acne. They all seem to be temporary fixes and the acne usually came back in my case. I know accutane isn't pleasant, and it does cause really dry lips, but I promise you it's worth it! I'm sorry i've never tried the oxy acne vanishing treatment cover up, but I suggest you use accutane, and then use that if the accutane doesn't clear up your acne completely like me and you're one of the 8% (lucky me, right?). I really hope this helps, and I would suggest you use a gentle cetaphil bar soap and witchhazel toner with cetaphil oil free moisturizer in the meantime. This gentle combo sometimes helps with my acne, and I'm doing a bit better since starting it. Good luck, and you're not alone. Acne sucks. :)

ok so i have oxy 10% benzoyl peroxide and for the last few months ive been..twice daily... applying some... rubbing it on my face for about 1 minute, then washing it all off with water then drying my face. but my acnes not getting better and i hear it might be better to apply the BP then let it absorb for like 3 mins then just pat dry off the access and NOT rinse it off. is this true? also if so should i apply a moisturizer afterwards if i dont rinse? my moisturizer has 0.5% salicylic acid in it is that ok or do i need some w/o salicylic acid? i also have some facial wash with i think 2% salicylic acid that i never use, should i incorporate that into my routine? thank you sooo much in advance

I went to a Thai restaurant and as an appetizer they served julienne cabbage and carrots poured with a dressing. The dressing looks like a diluted shampoo, off white to lemon yellow in color and the taste somewhat is cross between a lemon juice and a Dunkin' Donuts lemon filling. It is sweet and soury but nice.
