My boyfriend acts different now. Help?

Well me and my boyfriend have known eachother for a little over two years. He has always had a crush on me but I never gave him a chance because I was stuck on my ex. We've been together for a little over a month now and it's weird.. We were doing good until he went to jail, he's out now. Some girl messaged me on facebook lying to me about they were together and stuff which made me change my status to single. He hasn't changed his back yet.. Which is confusing me cause he tells me he still loves me and stuff but never changed it back and it's been a week. He just told me tonight that he told his parents about me (which I don't know why) and that they were coming down here in the morning (he lives about 4 hours away because they moved.) It's just hurting me that he won't change the status though, I sent him a relationship request but he didn't answer it. So... Help me?
