Why do i keep breaking out?

i started breaking out in middle school and ever since then my face hasnt cleared up. i have a few acne scars, ive tried everything to help clear my face and nothing seems to work, i stick to a product and either it only works in the begining or it doesnt work at all. ive tried oxy murad clearasil clean and clear home remedies nothing. im currently using a 3 step kit from clean and clear its helped a little i have a few pimples and blemishes, so my face looks red. i use it every day as it says i should and even though it does minimizes the appearance of acne i still end up waking up with anther pimple. why is that? why doesnt it go away, or at least help me from getting any new pimples?? please help what can i do or use???
